China new net Changzhou, September 16 Xu Xiaolan, president of the China Industrial Internet Research Institute, pointed out in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, on the 16th that the industrial Internet is an important part of the construction of new infrastructure and a new driving force to promote the transformation of the industrial economy to digitalization, networking and intelligence.
On the same day, the 2020 World Industry and Energy Internet and International Industrial Equipment Expo was held in Changzhou. The theme of this year’s conference is “New industry, new energy, new infrastructure, new momentum”, including the opening ceremony, the main summit, online exhibition and ten series of special activities.
On June 30 this year, the 14th meeting of the Commission for Deepening Overall Reform of the CPC Central Committee deliberated and adopted six programs and opinions, including the Guiding Opinions on Deepening the Integrated Development of a New Generation of information Technology and Manufacturing. The meeting proposed to accelerate the innovation and development of the industrial Internet, accelerate the fundamental change of manufacturing production methods and enterprise forms, and consolidate the basic support for integrated development.
Xu Xiaolan said that the industrial Internet is an important part of the construction of new infrastructure. “We must seize the new opportunities of a new round of information technology and industrial transformation, develop new infrastructure represented by the industrial Internet, promote industrial digital transformation, and promote the dual cycle of modernization of the national governance system and governance and enabling high-quality economic development,” she said.
Why is the Industrial Internet hot? Xu Xiaolan revealed, “Through well-known consulting companies at home and abroad, we have made a series of predictions that by 2035, the industrial Internet will drive the growth of the industrial scale, which will reach 15 trillion US dollars.” It is an important new engine for global economic recovery, especially for new drivers of growth.”
According to the White Paper on the Economic Development of China’s Industrial Internet Industry (2020), the scale of added value of China’s industrial Internet industry continues to expand. It is estimated that from 2017 to 2019, the added value of China’s industrial Internet industry has increased year by year. In 2019, the added value of China’s industrial Internet industry reached 3.41 trillion yuan. It is expected that in 2020, the added value of China’s industrial Internet industry will reach 3.78 trillion yuan, and the proportion of GDP will rise to 3.63%, becoming a key driving force to promote high-quality growth of the national economy.
Xu Xiaolan said that with the cooperation of all parties in the industrial chain, the innovation and development of China’s industrial Internet has entered a new fast lane, and in key industries of the national economy such as energy, mining, metallurgy, petrochemicals, and automotive electronics, an industry innovation and development plateau with different characteristics has been formed, such as the concentration of solution providers, the coordination of the industrial chain, and the transformation and empowering of traditional industries.
“To become rich, first build roads, and to become strong, first build the ‘road of industrial interconnection.'” In Xu Xiaolan’s view, this year is the first year of the “14th Five-Year Plan”, we should give full play to China’s institutional advantages of concentrating efforts to do big things and the advantages of the super-scale market, combine government guidance with market dominance, and make overall planning with a higher position, a more comprehensive perspective, and deeper insight. In addition, it is necessary to speed up the integration pilot and promote the in-depth expansion of the industry. (over)
