For decades, Piercy has served as a “safety ambassador”, bringing machinery safety knowledge to the world through its Academy. Our subsidiaries around the world also provide appropriate local training in accordance with national laws and the requirements of their respective markets. The new internationally standardised training courses launched in the “International Training Calendar” at Pilmagnetic extend its online training services worldwide: offline training courses are redesigned as webinars with consistent quality. Machinery manufacturers and operators, wherever they are located, can benefit online from the expertise of Pielmagnetics experts, especially in regions where Pielmagnetics does not yet offer offline training to customers.
Effective training in all areas
In accordance with the qualification route of the Pierre Magnet Institute, the seminars in the “International Training Schedule” are divided into four levels: from entry level to expert certification. The training covers the principles of mechanical safety, as well as specific expertise on basic safety requirements such as robot applications. Students always have access to the latest content, which is updated in response to any changes affecting national or international machinery safety standards and directives. Therefore, the “International Training agenda” also covers valuable applied knowledge on functional safety in compliance with the new EN ISO 13849-1 and EN IEC 62061 standards. Training will be conducted in English, and the workshop programme is regularly expanded to include new training courses – we always keep up with the trend towards automation.
