IC200ALG326 GE Analog Output module
The IC200ALG326 module is a current analog output module manufactured by GE Fanuc Automation as a member of the VersaMax product family. This unit is a 13-bit module with 8 single-ended channels arranged in a single group. The IC200ALG326 analog output module provides eight 4 to 20 milliamps rated analog current-sourcing output points. When this module is configured for 0 to 20 milliamps of current, it has a current output signal of 0 milliamps with links to the %AQ value with 0 counts. Additionally, the 20 milliamps correspond to the %AQ rate with up to 32,000 counts. While operating in the 4 to 20 milliamps range, the value of 0 %AQ counts match up to the output current of 4 milliamps. The 32,000 %AQ counts value also matches up to the output current of 20 milliamps.
When the GE Fanuc IC200ALG326 current analog output module is installed in the PLC rack, it converts the negative value which commands 0 milliamps irrespective of the designated range. If this module is controlled by the Network Interface Unit or NIU, the negative values changes the commands to the low-end range. The IC200ALG326 module has an output range that is the default, and it allows for easy configuration in concurrence with the jumper that helps to modify the output range. Using the jumper enables the output to keep the last states or the default communication and power if the backplane is interrupted, or the PLC is not operating. The output points continue to default or their last state until the backplane provides different output data or until the field power is disconnected.
