The Kinetix 6000 Multi Axis Drive 2094-BM01-S is an axis module that provides direct connection to controlled devices via feedback cables. This axis module is mounted on a power rail, along with the integrated axis module, control module, shunt module and other essential components that make up a Kinetix Drive motion control system.
Kinetix drive provides user the capability of implementing simultaneous motion control of motors, typically in machines in the manufacturing industry. This drive system provide accurate and synchronized control, making the motors and compatible motion devices function as one unit.
The 2094-BM01-S has is a 400VAC class Axis Module with continuous current of 6.1 A and peak current of 9.2A for Series A and 15.3 A for Series B and C drives and continuous output power of 3.9 kW. It has an efficiency of 98% and short-circuit current rating of 200,000 A (rms) symmetrical. It has an integrated shunt with continuous power of 50W and peak power of 5.6 kW. The module’s internal shunt resistor has a resistance value of 115 ohms.

The module’s operating temperature requirement is 0…50 °C (32…122 °F) with relative humidity of 5…95% noncondensing. It may be operated as well in an altitude of 1000 m (3281 ft) without derating and 3000 m (9843 ft) with derated functionality. The module’s acceptable vibration range is 5…55 Hz @ 0.35 mm (0.014 in.) double amplitude, continuous displacement; 55…500 Hz @ 2.0 g peak constant acceleration while shock rating is at 15 g within11 ms half-sine pulse.
The 2094-BM01-S axis module has enhanced system performance and operation safety. Its safety torque-off increases productivity while decreasing machine downtime by preventing restarts when the circuits trip. With an ISO 13849-1 PLe/SIL3 certification, the 2094-BM01-S needs an external safety relay to meet the EN954-1, Category 3 industrial standards. Safe Speed Monitoring allows the user to monitor and reduce application speed to perform work without shutting down the whole machine. This drive also features a multi-turn absolute encoder that maintains the device position during a power failure. The peak enhancement configuration of the 2094-BM01-S handles motion applications that require rapid acceleration and deceleration within a limited time span. This reduces the required number of axis modules for reducing panel space requirements
