The 1606-XLP30E module is a screw/spring clamped power supply module by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. The normal operation of the module has a rated power output of 30 Watts. The input voltage range of the module is 100 to 240 Volts AC. The device has a rated output current of 1.3 Amps. The “DC OK” signal is accepted by the module and it has an output voltage which can be adjusted according to the needs of the operators. The heat generation is kept minimal in this module. The 1606-XLP30E module is not waterproof and it can be used in indoor locations only. The unit has an 87.5% efficiency rating and it is considered to be a reliable device. The MTBF rating of the module is 650,000 hours according to the Siemensnorm SN 29500 standard. The mounting can be done by using the DIN Rail mount. It is easy to install. The 1606-XLP30E module features output noise suppression. The radiated EMI values are kept below the EN50081-I standards with unscreened output cables. The operation of the module is shown via the operation indicator located on the front of the module. The operating temperature of the module falls between -10 and 70 degrees Celsius and the storage/transport temperature falls between -25 and 85 degrees Celsius. A maximum humidity rating of 95% should be present in the installation area of the module. The 1606-XLP30E module meets the CE and cUS standards. The dimensions of the module are 45 x 75 x 91 millimeters. The module has an exceptional overload design and supports up to 1.5 times the normal load with no switch-off and nominal current. The module should not be exposed to corrosive gas and vapors.
