Measurements of this module can be combined with measurements of other modules to form a turbo-mechanical protection system, and provided as inputs to analytical diagnostic systems, fieldbus systems, decentralized control systems, plant/host computers, networks such as WAN/LAN networks, and Ethernet. For steam engine, gas engine, water turbine, compressor, fan, centrifuge and other turbomachinery, using this system can improve the efficiency, operation safety and prolong the service life of the machinery.
MMS6110 is a two-channel shaft vibration measurement module, which can be used to measure radial vibration of shaft with eddy current sensor to monitor and protect various types of turbo-machinery, such as: steam turbine, gas turbine, compressor, fan, gearbox, blower, centrifuge, etc. The output of the sensor, the input of the module, represents the clearance from the front end of the sensor to the shaft surface.
The signal is composed of a static component proportional to the static gap and a dynamic component proportional to the vibration of the shaft. The MMS6110 module will separate the two components of each channel signal, and then convert them into standard signal output according to the working mode set in the configuration.
Other parts of the module provide alarm, sensor power supply, module power supply, channel and sensor detection and signal filtering. The built-in microprocessor can set the working mode and parameters, read all the measured values and perform spectrum analysis through the field portable computer or the remote communication bus.
The last start/stop procedure is stored in the module and can be displayed through the computer
