The discontinued Allen Bradley PanelView 900 2711-K9A8 is an operator terminal that enables the user to interface with their machine. This HMI has a 9 in. Monochrome Display. This Panelview comes with a DH+ and RS-232 Printer communication port. The user is able to control the HMI using the Keypad to input information and data. This unit is powered using 120 VAC power. This unit has an internal memory of 1008K bytes. The Data Highway Plus terminals are capable of point-to-point communication with a single controller, as well as network communication with multiple controllers over an Allen-Bradley DH+ network. Direct access to controller data files minimizes ladder logic.
The Allen-Bradley 2711-K9A8 is a PanelView 900 Standard operator terminal. The main function of this operator terminal is to allow operator and plant personnel to interface with industrial machines or processes that use Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) or Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC) for implementing automated controls.
