PCI-6255 NI Multifunction DAQ

The PCI-6255 (Part Number: 779546-01) is a Multifunction DAQ designed by National Instruments. This device offers several features for computer-based systems in a single device. The PCI 6255 can fulfill many basic measurement requirements. DAQExpressTM companion software is provided in the PCI-6255 device. This software is used for basic measurement and analysis functions. The supported driver for the PCI-6255 is NI-DAQmx, which enables the device to design customized automated control application.

The PCI-6255 Multifunction DAQ has 40 differential analog channels as inputs. These inputs are programmable to be selected as single-ended. The input terminal is 16-bit resolution. The CMRR of the device is 100 dB. The maximum rate of sampling depends on the mode of input channels used. The single-channel mode has a rate up to 1.25 MS per second. For multichannel mode, the sampling rate is up to 750 kS/s. The NI PCI-6255 has an input voltage range of +0.1 V to +10 V. The bias current of the input is +100 pA. The NI PCI-6255 M Series DAQ has two 16-bit output analog channels, with a sampling rate of up to 2.86 MS/s. The impedance of the output channel is 0.2 Ω. The analog channels of this device are DC-coupled. 2 counters/timers–with a frequency of 80 MHz and a 32-bit resolution–are also installed in the device. The PCI-6255 I/O device also has 24 digital I/O channels. These channels are individually programmable. The digital channels have voltage protection of +20 V. The device is equipped with 2 68-pin VHDCI I/O connectors. It has power requirements of 0.03 A at +5 V, 0,725 A at +3.3 V, and 0.35 A at +12 V.
