In the school-enterprise cooperation project, Siemens released three open cooperation topics, including “Teacher research and development ability Improvement Project”, “West Society” online course development and “Application of innovative teaching methods in practical courses”. During the Siemens Education Cooperation Summit 2023 event, the CIMC “Siemens Cup” China Intelligent Manufacturing Challenge National Finals were held at Lanzhou University of Technology. CIMC “Siemens Cup” China Intelligent Manufacturing Challenge is the largest and oldest college student competition in the field of intelligent manufacturing in China, which was founded in 2006 and has a history of 17 years. CIMC “Siemens Cup” China Intelligent Manufacturing Challenge is a Sino-Foreign/Sino-German Cultural exchange mechanism project of the Ministry of Education, a competition project of “National University Discipline Competition Ranking” competition project of the Chinese Association of Higher Education, and a competition project of “National University Robot Competition Innovation Index”.
This year’s competition attracted nearly 700 colleges and universities, 7,180 teams and more than 25,000 teachers and students from 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities across the country to participate, and the scale of the competition reached 52 districts, and the scale and influence of the competition reached a record high. A total of 523 teams from 243 universities across the country participated in the finals, which is also the largest number of finals in history!
