The Intel x86-based, 100 MHz-compatible X20CP1483-1 represents the entry-level X20 controllers. With an optimum price/performance ratio, it has the same basic features as all of the larger controllers.
Onboard Ethernet and USB are standard. In addition, the controller has a POWERLINK connection for hard real-time communication. Another slot is available for an additional interface module to increase flexibility.
The only difference between the two variants X20CP1483 and X20CP1483-1 is the size of the SDRAM.

X20CP1483-1 B&R entry-level X20 controllers
The IC200MDL750 physical measurement is 110 mm (4.3 in) x 66.8 mm (2.63 in) x 50 mm (1.956 in), excluding the dimension of the carrier base. Similar to the other I/O modules, each output channel is provided with an individua LED status indicator that is used to locally monitor the activity of the module per channel. In addition, an OK LED is also provided, depicting the active supply of power from the backplane which is maximum of 90 mA.
The IC200MDL750 module is a Versamax output module. It is a 32-point output module and it runs with a voltage rating of 24 Volts DC. It comes with 0.5 Amps of rated current per point. It consumes a backplane current of 90 milliamps. It is compact in size and it has a weight of 0.90 kilograms. The IC200MDL750 module is a positive logic output module with 2 groups of 16 outputs. The 32 total outputs have a DC+ terminal and a DC- terminal. An external suppression circuit is used with the output module when the wiring is connected with inductive loads. The module is certified to be operated in a Class I Division 2 rated hazardous location.
These module has channel LEDs that illuminate when the field power is present. The channels have an on response time of 0.2 milliseconds maximum, and an off response time of 1 millisecond maximum. The output leakage current of the IC200MDL750 module is 0.5 milliamps at 30 Volts DC. The output module can be easily mounted using a DIN rail. The temperature of the module should be maintained between 0 and 30 degrees Celsius to avoid thermal derating. The number of points that can be operated at a time depends on the ambient temperature and the orientation of the module.
