The MPL-B4530F-MJ22AA servo motor is an MP series, low-inertia rotary servo motor manufactured by Allen-Bradley. Its power specifications are 460 Volts AC input voltage, 2.1 kilowatts of output power, and 7 Amps of continuous stall current, and its speed specifications are 3000 revolutions per minute (rpm), 8.25 N-m of stall torque, and 0.00040 kg-m2. It is equipped with a multi-turn high-resolution encoder that provides absolute positioning feedback within 4096 turns. The electromagnetic design of the encoder eliminates the need to use a battery and the encoder type allows this servo motor to be used as a component of an Allen-Bradley Kinetix drive’s safe-off feature.
