On August 23, Delta unveiled the “2023 Taipei International Automation Industry Exhibition” with the theme of “Digital Intelligence creates a new future”, focusing on “smart factory solutions”, and showcased the virtual machine development platform DIATwin and the virtual and real integrated equipment platform RTM/iRTM with the newly developed concept of “digital twin and intelligent machine construction integration”. Using process information to simulate and optimize parameters, reduce the limitations caused by objective conditions. At the same time, for the electronics manufacturing and semiconductor industries, the focus is on the intelligent integration platform that can integrate devices (Operation Technology, OT layer), production data (Info Technology, IT layer) and edge computing.
Liu Jiarong, general manager of Delta Electromechanical business group, said that with the global economic recovery, the manufacturing industry is facing new challenges, the rapid spread of the shortage of workers impact the supply chain, the industry actively expand the global layout, the demand for decentralized production increases, and the wave of intelligent manufacturing is unstoppable. Delta has been deeply engaged in the field of industrial automation for nearly 30 years. With its rich experience in electronics manufacturing, Delta integrates self-developed automation machines, manufacturing execution systems, equipment networking and visual management platforms with DIAMOM, an intelligent manufacturing solution for electronics assembly industry, to control production schedule, product quality, equipment efficiency, operation status, warehousing and logistics in real time. Combined with Digital Twin technology and modular machine equipped with virtual and real integration software, can specifically assist customers to achieve intelligent manufacturing.
In this exhibition, Delta’s concept area of “Digital Twin and Smart machine Construction Integration” exhibited for the first time the virtual machine development platform DIATwin and the virtual and real integration device platform RTM/iRTM, using process information and built-in database to simulate optimization parameters to reduce design errors, reduce dependence on the hardware environment and construction costs. In addition, the in-device communication architecture can be pre-integrated to speed up the time for automation to be introduced into the process. In response to the precision process needs of the electronic assembly industry, Delta exhibited AC motor winding machine solutions and PCB carrier take-up and placement solutions, which are easy to import and greatly reduce the manpower and time of equipment construction.
In addition, in the “Process Automation” exhibition area, in response to the trend of reducing emissions in the fluid control industry for HVAC applications, Delta’s fluid solutions covering key technologies such as maglev systems, variable frequency drives, efficient motors, and power management, avoid bearing wear when fluid machinery exchanges high speed for flow and pressure, achieving high speed, high efficiency and energy saving. Helping customers in the fluid industry move towards net zero. In addition, through the successful case of the application of the industrial graphic control system VTScada to the North American branch, it shows the results of managing various systems such as multi-point plant energy and plant affairs with a single software platform, and improving management efficiency with data visualization.
In the “Intelligent Products” area, the 3D ToF intelligent camera DMV-T is displayed, which can collect 3D information and detect objects at high speed. In addition to visual identification for automatic unmanned vehicles in storage environment, dynamic machine display is also used to simulate the sole coating process combining ToF camera DMV-T and virtual machine development platform DIATwin. While the camera automatically identifies the product position, the five-axis horizontal joint robot applies glue, and the virtual and real integration solution helps customers accelerate the development time and greatly improve production efficiency. The new compact multi-transmission inverter MX300, with multi-transmission modular architecture can be flexibly configured with rectifier and inverter modules, efficient use of allocation space, to achieve space saving, easy disassembly, easy adjustment and easy networking. The M∞Vair wireless charging system uses WiTricity® magnetic induction radio energy transmission technology to provide 1 kW ~ 30 kW contactless efficient charging function, providing innovative intelligent and unmanned charging methods for AGV, automatic stacker and other unmanned electric industrial vehicles, while eliminating problems such as joint wear and high maintenance costs.
During the exhibition, Delta will also hold a number of guided Tours and forums at the booth to share topics such as smart visualization platform solutions, high-speed fluid solutions, smart multi-transmission frequency converter product applications, and smart networking cornerstone solutions.
