From August 31, 2023 to September 1, 2023 Siemens Workflow Canvas® Eco-Partners Conference was held in Suzhou Shishan International Convention Center. Song Changbao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee of Suzhou High-tech Zone, Dr. Zhu Xiaoxun, President of Siemens Research Institute in China, Dr. Li Ming, General Manager of R&D of Siemens Research Institute in China, and Qin Cheng, general manager of Siemens Xcelerator in China, attended the event.
Workflow Canvas is a new generation of industrial digital integration development tool independently developed by Siemens China Research Institute, and is an important technical support for Siemens Xcelerator open digital business platform.
The conference was jointly organized by Siemens Xcelerator China Business Team and Siemens China Research Institute. At the event, Xcelerator Workflow Canvas ecological Alliance was officially established in Suzhou High-tech Zone.
In China’s industrial enterprises, the large multinational enterprises represented by Siemens only occupy a minority, and more than 90% are small and medium-sized enterprises. To this end, the market needs to provide “miniaturized, fast, lightweight, precise” digital solutions and products to solve the pain points of digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises. Workflow Canvas is a tool that conforms to the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises in China. We aim to use this tool, while leveraging the strengths of the Siemens Xcelerator platform, to empower small and medium-sized enterprises for digital transformation, and to build a long-term and stable partnership with them to jointly build an innovation ecosystem.
Nearly 50 leading enterprises in the field of segmentation appeared at the event with the hardware and software product portfolio built based on Workflow Canvas, demonstrating the rich achievements of Siemens’ scientific and ecological joint innovation. Earlier, in the Workflow Canvas elite training camp activity that lasted for more than 1 month, participating enterprises realized the integration and innovation of their own products and technologies through learning and training, discussion and co-creation with technical experts.
Workflow Canvas can easily and effectively help partners upgrade existing traditional solutions, software, equipment, services, etc. to digital business models, thereby increasing profit margins and service value. For example, by using Workflow Canvas, enterprises can service and standardize their IT or OT solution apis, thus connecting with Siemens Xcelerator’s global API market and expanding their customer base. In addition, Workflow Canvas can standardize its business flow or process description, interface with large-scale language models and encapsulate various analysis and recommendation algorithms, thus achieving a seamless connection between business and practice.
In the future, Xcelerator Workflow Canvas ecological Alliance will seek and build more cooperation platforms for enterprises participating in co-creation and development, and further build and expand the ecological alliance while displaying joint innovation achievements.
