The VMIC / GE Fanuc-2534 32-Bit I/O Board features four ports individually addressable on 8-, 16-, or 32-bit boundaries. The separate board address decoder for the Control and Status Register (CSR) and Board ID Register allows addresses for hardware control is grouped for improved software efficiency. The address modifier codes are jumper-selectable for short supervisory or short nonprivileged I/O access.

VMIVME-2534 GE Digital I/O Board
The inputs are jumper-selectable to monitor: contact closure, voltage source, current sinking, and differential signals. Open circuit provides logic “zero” or (jumper-selectable) logic “one.” The VMIVME-2534 also features a input filter option and user selectable input voltage thresholds.
The outputs feature high current sink (600 mA), high breakdown voltage (70 V), output clamp diodes, and keep alive circuits for reducing current surge.
