After years of experience with automation and control products, the newly released AC 900F controller truly expands the hardware makeup of the Freelance distributed control system.
The AC 900F controller contains the main CPU modules, bus modules, and I/O modules configured based on application requirements. In addition, the AC 900F supports redundancy.
The AC 900F includes:
CPU module PM 902F with 4 Ethernet interfaces, 1 diagnostic interface, 2 serial ports and display unit (optional)
Lite CPU Module PM 901F with 3 Ethernet Ports, 1 diagnostic port, 2 serial ports, and display unit (Optional)
10 S700 I/O modules that can be directly connected to the controller base unit
Two fieldbus interface modules at most
The controller supports remote I/O, transmitters, actuators, drives, and connections to other devices via PROFIBUS and other bus protocols.
