Essential details:MVI71-MCM   ProSoft Modbus Master/Slave Network Interface Module

The Allen-Bradley MVI71-MCM module is a Modbus master/slave network interface module. It is classified under the programmable logic controller series and it is a single-slot 1771 backplane compatible module. The unit is recognized as an input/output module with access to processor memory. This allows for a simplified data connection between the processor and the module. The MVI71-MCM module also features the Ladder Logic protocol that enables a seamless data transfer from the module to the processor. The MVI71-MCM module requires the Allen-Bradley PLC processor with a compatible power supply. For optimal performance, it requires a minimum of 64 MB of RAM. However, the manufacturer recommends 256 MB of RAM for optimal functionality. In addition, ensure that it has at least 400 MB of free hard disk space, and use a 256-color VGA graphics indicator.
