The Allen-Bradley 1756-LSC8XIB8I is a ControlLogix low-speed counter module. It is an eight input point, eight counter, 24V high-speed DC isolated sink/source input module with a standard input or counter control functionality. Eight dedicated counters that have a maximum counting frequency of 40 kHz are available for this module and a counter returns accumulated count, instantaneous frequency, average frequency, instantaneous pulse width, and average pulse width. It is a 31-bit counter with a count range of 0 to 2,147,483,648.
It requires a removable terminal block housing, or RTB, of either the 1756-TBS6H or 1756-TBCH before it can be connected to a compatible ControlLogix chassis.
