IS230TDBTH6A Mark VI printed circuit board GE

The IS230TDBTH6A is a PCB component manufactured by GE for the Mark VI system.  The Mark VI is a gas and steam turbine management platform released by GE as part of the Speedtronic line.  This platform can be designed as either a triple redundant or as a simplex system to meet to size and complexity of its associated turbine system.

The IS230TDBTH6A functions as a Discrete Input/Output terminal board.  This component can be DIN-rail mounted. It accepts up to 24 contact inputs that are group isolated.  These contacts should have a nominal voltage of 125 V dc. The IS230TDBTH6A is the most powerful of the three available versions of the TDBT board.

The IS230TDBTH6A is built with two terminal blocks (TB1/TB2) that are located side by side on one long board edge.  The board is also populated by twelve relays that are placed in three lines of four, forty-nine metal oxide varistors (MOVs,) three female connectors (JE1, JW1, and JW2,) along with various resistors, diodes, capacitors, and integrated circuits.  Each input has filters for surge suppression and the reduction of high-frequency noise. This board is designed without jumpers or configurable hardware.

The IS230TDBTH6A  mounts to a sheet metal carrier that is designed to then mount to a DIN rail.  The IS230TDBTH6A and its insulator can also be mounted directly to a sheet metal assembly and bolted into a cabinet.  Regardless of mounting choice, manufacturer guidelines should be followed for all maintenance and installation.
