The IC693ACC350 adapter module by GE Fanuc is a redundant power supply adapter module. This redundant power supply (RPS) adapter replaces the power supply on an expansion base or CPU base, and then links them to a redundant power supply base. The IC693ACC350 redundant power supply adapter mounts like a normal IC693 power supply, on the left-slot on the baseplate for an IC693 device. This RPS adapter comes with numerous physical features which include a module LED status indicator, a serial port connector, and RAM with a backup battery. These features have the same functions as those in a standard Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) power supply. The backup battery and serial port connector do not function on any power supply that is mounted on an RPS baseplate. The only LED on this RPS adapter is the “PWR” LED.

IC693ACC350 GE redundant power supply adapter module
The connectors of the GE Fanuc IC693ACC350 RPS adapter connect to the ones on the baseplate of the RPS power output cable. This cable splits into 2 connectors at the end of the IC693ACC350 adapter. Additionally, the IC693ACC350 RPS adapter comes with a short ground wire which allows the users to ground the adapter during installation. To configure the IC693ACC350 RPS adapter, the users need VersaPro 2.00 software or an updated version. During configuration, the users will need to select the IC693ACC350 RPS adapter module for the slot’s power supply, and then fill out the information for the configuration of the IC693ACC350 module. Also, the RAM backup battery of the PLC should be mounted on the IC693ACC350 RPS adapter.
