Aiming to deliver innovative tools directly to customers’ workbenches, Kennametal Inc. will launch a nationwide mold tour across North America, covering more than 20 markets. Kennametal’s metal cutting tour will provide existing and potential customers with the opportunity to meet with the company’s team of experts and explore innovative solutions to drive productivity and performance improvements in industries such as aerospace and automotive, especially electric vehicles.

The Metal Cutting tour will showcase some of the Kennametal tools that NASCAR R&D engineers are primarily using to develop the next generation of racing cars. Kennametal today announced that it has become a NASCAR Competition Partner, and as part of the program, Kennametal will provide racing companies with its industry-leading portfolio of precision metal cutting solutions.
During the North American tour, Kennametal will also showcase some of its best-selling tools and the latest tools for turning, milling and drilling, as well as proven solutions for a variety of sectors and end markets, including automotive (electric vehicles), aerospace, medical, general engineering and energy. It will cover die solutions from Kennametal’s product brands, including Kennametal®, WIDIAâ„¢ and Hanitaâ„¢.
The tour is driven by a custom-built state-of-the-art truck and trailer, where visitors can go inside to learn about molds and meet Kennametal’s machining and application experts. The trucks and trailers will travel to stores, trade shows and other events across the country starting in January 2024, offering exclusive giveaways and product promotions.
