The Allen-Bradley 2711P-T7C4A1 is an AC powered PanelView Plus 700 graphic operator terminal. This operator terminal has an electronic circuitry designed to be operated by an external AC supply voltage range of 85-264VAC. It comes with an embedded RS232 and Ethernet communication ports as standard communication interfaces along a 6.5-inch colored display screen with embedded analog-resistive touch surface.
This operator terminal is part of Allen-Bradley’s Human Interface solution of integrating factory floor controllers and providing a centralized monitoring and communication station in the plant level area. It specifically belongs to the PanelView Plus 700 operator terminals however, this product family has reached product obsolescence.
Aside from the embedded features previously mentions, this operator terminal comes with a 64 MB Random Access Memory (RAM) that is used by the terminal during runtime interface. For file storage such as recipes, trends, logs and application backup, the 2711P-T7C4A1 has a 64MB Flash memory.

Ethernet supports real time I/O messaging, as well as message exchange. The EtherNet/IP screen displays and allows the user to modify some of the EtherNet/IP communication settings for a PanelView terminal. The module has its own unique IP address. This port has an RJ45, 10/100Base-T connector for network communication and supports MDI/MDI-X connections. The parameters are downloaded with the application.
