In the annual selection results announced at the 2022 CAIMRS China Automation + Digital Industry Annual meeting on August 26, ABB China won eight awards in four categories, including industry leader, product innovation, service innovation and marketing innovation, and was selected as one of the Top 50 Automation + Digital Brands in China 2022, demonstrating ABB’s innovation ability and leading strength. It also fully affirmed ABB’s efforts and achievements in continuing to promote the digital transformation of the industry.
Digital technologies enable a sustainable future

ABB condition monitoring services help customers avoid downtime losses: Since May 2018, ABB has provided ABB Ability™ drive condition monitoring services for three ACS1000 drives at Xianglu Petrochemical (Zhangzhou) Co., LTD., collecting data on drive performance and monitoring equipment availability, condition, operating parameters and failure events to effectively avoid costly and prolonged downtime.
ABB helps build a green intelligent car manufacturing plant: In the “Green Future Factory” located in Hefei, Jianghuai NIO Automotive uses high-efficiency industrial fans for automobile painting production lines to improve the quality of vehicle painting and energy saving and emission reduction. ABB provides these industrial fans with a high performance process motor M3BP with an energy efficiency of IE4, helping customers improve energy efficiency at the source and reduce electricity costs.
ABB precision control solutions support renewable energy development and energy efficiency improvement: ABB deeply integrates a new generation of energy systems and information technology to create an energy system “conductor”, providing precise control solutions for source and network load and storage, and supporting users to build a safe green and highly resilient energy system through a high proportion of consumption and improvement of energy efficiency. It can be further connected to the urban energy management platform, complete the demand side response, and release the low-carbon potential of the park.
In the product innovation category, the ABB IRB 1300 small robot won the Smart Equipment Innovation Award. The IRB 1300 small six-axis industrial robot offers outstanding load capacity, range and path accuracy, faster operation and a more compact size, which significantly increases production efficiency and line flexibility. It can quickly pick up heavy objects or move complex or irregularly shaped objects, making it suitable for high-load applications in electronics, general industrial, food and beverage, logistics and automotive parts production.
