On November 6, Texas Instruments (TI) (NASDAQ: With the theme of “Digital Innovation, High-quality Development”, TXN once again presented its innovative analog and embedded processing products and technologies at the CIIE (Booth A1-01, Integrated Circuit Area, Technical Equipment Exhibition area, Hall 4.1), demonstrating its continuous innovation in the fields of renewable energy, automotive electronics and robotics. At the show, Texas Instruments showcased a range of innovative technologies and achievements, including energy storage systems, electric vehicle traction inverters, driver assistance systems, and industrial and collaborative robots.
In the renewable energy sector, TI’s analog and embedded processing technologies are contributing to the future transition to more sustainable green energy through smarter and more reliable photovoltaic systems, energy storage systems and electric vehicle charging systems.
The new stackable battery management design demonstrated for energy storage systems (ESS) uses Texas Instruments’ new battery monitor BQ79616. The monitor can be applied to various energy storage systems, such as home storage, industrial and commercial energy storage, and 1500V power station energy storage, and provides accurate single battery status to maximize the utilization of the remaining available capacity of the battery.
• In automotive electronics, TI is advancing the automotive industry with innovative products and technologies for electric vehicles and advanced driver assistance systems.
o Automotive electrification highlights include:
1. Texas Instruments will jointly launch a new motor controller master control platform with CRRC Electric Drive at the booth. The platform uses the dedicated real-time control processing capabilities of the Texas Instruments C2000TM microcontroller in motor control applications to help develop more efficient, better performing, and safer motor controllers.
2. In addition, Texas Instruments demonstrated an efficient, high-performance 300kW, 800V traction inverter system based on silicon carbide and using its new Arm® Cortex®-R microcontroller (MCU). The new AM263P4-Q1 MCU further enhances traction inverter performance, making the inverter more economical and practical, and doubling the motor speed of electric vehicles.
o Advanced driver assistance systems: On November 6, Texas Instruments and customers jointly launched new products at the booth.
1. Joint launch of Desay Siway’s new IPU02 Pro Driving and Parking Integrated Domain Controller: With Texas Instruments’ TDA4VM Vision AI processor and the new AM62A Vision AI processor, Desay Siway can more quickly develop complete and cost-effective high-speed automated navigation assisted driving solutions.
2. Joint release of Jingwei’s intelligent sensing internal rearview mirror, 4D millimeter wave Radar and inline automatic driving domain controller: These products respectively adopt Texas Instruments JacintoTM, SitaraTM and Radar technologies in the field of intelligent cockpit, automatic driving and other products. Texas Instruments has a professional support team, as well as a rich reference design and scalable development platform, can help Jingwei Hengrun greatly shorten the product development cycle and bring to market.

On November 7, Texas Instruments, in partnership with GCOM Motion Controls, announced the SmartPX Smart multi-axis Driver at the booth: It uses Texas Instruments’ microcontroller, real-time controller and analog technology to deliver reliable connectivity, superior performance and advanced functionality to motor drivers. The highly innovative motion control drives achieve high reliability and high performance, support multiple protocols and are economical and practical for Industry 4.0 robot applications.
