This year marks the 35th anniversary of Basler’s establishment. In the field of machine vision, we have been working for decades, together with our partners, to innovate technology, optimize services and explore new business models. Basler is not only a supplier of products, services and solutions, but also a driving force in the development of the industry.

In order to record the past with his colleagues, we had the opportunity to interview some of Basler’s old friends, let’s listen to their stories with Basler.

“Elson was founded in 2014, we started as a small team of five or six people, and since then we have been working with Basler. Because the team was relatively small at that time, when doing a project, many details such as camera selection, development and integration needed to be discussed with Basler’s team.

Today, Elson has more than 100 employees, and our team is constantly growing. As a close partner, Elson, like Basler, has experienced technological changes, product iterations, and collaborative model changes over the past nine years. The only thing I can feel is the constant warmth and quality of the Basler people.

Elson’s products are used in automotive manufacturing, including lithium batteries, where high reliability is required, and Basler’s 2D cameras are embedded in our 3D vision system, which we call ‘Basler Inside’. Then rely on 3D vision with the robot to carry out the positioning of loading and unloading, including path planning and sorting. The 2D camera embedded in a relatively small space has a high requirement for heat dissipation, and the Basler camera has a small pixel drift deviation due to temperature changes, which ensures the accuracy of our image.

Basler’s pursuit of quality and Elson’s values are the same, and I think this is one of the main reasons why we have been able to work with Basler. Nowadays, Elson’s products have been exported to Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Germany and other countries and regions, so an international company like Basler can provide after-sales service in different countries and regions, which provides a heavy guarantee and peace of mind for our products to go to sea.
