At present, the preparatory work for the Expo’s national Exhibition, Enterprise exhibition and the second Hongqiao International Economic Forum has been basically completed.
According to Wang Bingnan, the national exhibition covers a total exhibition area of 30,000 square meters, focusing on the development achievements, business environment and characteristic industries of various countries. The image design of the pavilions of each country is unique to its own characteristics, a total of 64 countries (including China) and 3 international organizations participated in the exhibition. The 15 countries of honour (in alphabetical order) are Cambodia, Czech Republic, France, Greece, India, Italy, Jamaica, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Peru, Russia, Thailand, Uzbekistan and Zambia.
Among them, the China Pavilion in the National Exhibition (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan exhibition area) is open, atmospheric, flexible, transparent, unique Oriental charm and modern atmosphere, is a beautiful “China business card”, to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China as the theme, with high-quality development as the main line, focusing on the historical achievements of China’s economic and social development and new opportunities in the new era. In addition, the total exhibition area of the enterprise exhibition is 330,000 square meters, and exhibitors from various countries will display goods, technologies and services to achieve “buy the world and benefit the world”. Covering seven exhibition areas in five sectors including equipment, consumption, food, health and service, more than 3,000 enterprises from more than 150 countries and regions have signed up for the exhibition, and 500,000 professional buyers and visitors have registered.
Wang Bingnan pointed out that compared with the first CIIE, the second CIIE is larger and more attractive. The total area of the first enterprise exhibition and national exhibition is 300,000 square meters, and this year it will reach 360,000 square meters. Among them, the enterprise exhibition increased from 270,000 square meters to 330,000 square meters, expanding twice, and it is still difficult to find an exhibition. The number of participating countries, regions, international organizations and exhibitors exceeded the first session. The quality is higher and the effectiveness is further improved. The number of world Top 500 and industry leading enterprises participating in the exhibition exceeded the first edition, and high-quality small and medium-sized enterprises such as “invisible champion” enterprises competed to appear. Domestic and foreign buyers and professional visitors are expected to exceed 500,000. Activities are more abundant, and the comprehensive effect is further amplified.
