IS220PVIBH1A Vibration Terminal Board (TVBA)
Product Description
The IS220PVIBH1A model was designed as a Vibration Monitor Pack. The main function of the PVIB pack is to provide an electrical interfacing function between up to two I/O Ethernet networks and a vibration terminal board. The main components of this pack are the main processor board which is used with a majority of the MK VIe distributed I/O packs as well as a daughterboard and an acquisition board.
There are thirteen channels on this pack which are used for collecting and reading proximity and vibration information through several sensor types which are as follows:
-
Velomitor
-
Seismic
-
Proximitors
-
Accelerometers
The sensor types are used with different channels, for example, the accelerometers are only used with channels one, two, and three. Please note that channels nine, ten, eleven, and twelve can only be used in supporting proximitors while the thirteenth channel can input a proximity-type or Keyphasor signal type. Note that the thirteen differential inputs on the IS220PVIBH1A pack have a DAC (digital analog converter) which is used for bias adjustment which can void the DC content of the signal which will better center the A/D (analog-to-digital) input range.
The PVIB I/O pack has a processor application code that is used to potentially contain all of the logic codes necessary to allow the pack to operate from singular or dual Ethernet inputs. The network paths necessary to properly operate the IS220PVIBH1A pack are active at all times when being operated from two Ethernet inputs. If for any reason either network fails it will not result in any type of disturbance to the operation of the I/O pack but the failure will be indicated through the operating network connection.
