PR6423/011-110+CON021 Eddy Current Signal Converter
PR6423/011-110+CON021 In addition to eddy current testing, non-destructive testing (NDT) has other commonly used methods, including:
Radiography Testing (RT) : The use of X-rays or gamma rays to penetrate the object being examined, by detecting the degree of attenuation of the rays to determine the internal defects of the object.
Ultrasonic Testing (UT) : Using the reflection, refraction and attenuation of ultrasonic waves propagating inside objects to detect defects inside objects.
Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) : magnetic powder is applied to the surface of the object to be detected, and defects on the surface of the object are detected by detecting the accumulation of magnetic powder.
PR6423/011-110+CON021 Penetrant Testing (PT) : Penetrant is applied to the surface of the object being tested to detect defects on the surface of the object by detecting the penetration of the penetrant.
Visual Testing (VT) : Observing defects on the surface of the object being detected by the naked eye or a magnifying glass.
Each of these methods has advantages and disadvantages and is suitable for different types of materials and defect detection. In practical applications, the appropriate nondestructive testing method is usually selected according to the nature of the object being tested and the testing requirements.
