Yu Haibin said that different from the standardization of industry 3.0, Industry 4.0 focuses on focusing on personalized and scenario-oriented application practices, based on automation, taking digital transformation as the way, and taking intelligence as the goal, and accelerating the transformation and upgrading of traditional factories to future smart factories.
He further pointed out that the core of intelligence is a variety of industrial software applications based on the formation of digital transformation, combining a large number of industrial data, industrial knowledge, industrial mechanism, industrial model and industrial experience, which will greatly improve the level of digitalization and intelligence of enterprises, and create a smart enterprise characterized by “open integration and collaborative intelligence”.

Yu Haibin introduced that the factory operating system has revolutionized the hierarchical standard of the factory, transforming the traditional multi-layer Purdue model architecture in which data and information need to be transmitted layer by layer into a flat architecture in which data interacts at the same level, thus breaking the data island and truly realizing the platformization and flattening of data. At the same time, on this basis will also produce more industrial APP applications, through the “factory operating system + industrial APP” technical architecture, will greatly accelerate the pace of enterprise intelligent development. In particular, he highlighted the potential of the combined use of mechanistic models and AI to unlock enterprise data productivity.
