NORDAC ON drives feature an integrated multi-protocol Ethernet interface, IIoT capabilities, full pluggability and compact design. As part of NORD’s modular system, they are perfectly integrated with the NORD gear motor portfolio. The range consists of three models: NORDAC ON for use with IE3 asynchronous motors, NORDAC ON+ for use with highly efficient IE5+ synchronous motors, and NORDAC ON PURE with a wash design.
Ideal for food and beverage industry applications
The NORDAC ON PURE SK 35xP is designed for conveying applications in the food and beverage industry with power up to 1.5 kW. The flush design of the round smooth surface facilitates quick cleaning and is also suitable for demanding applications thanks to the IP69 protection class. nsd tupH surface treatment provides effective corrosion protection. To further reduce cleaning efforts, the number of high-performance plugs required has been streamlined to a minimum with a solution that connects hybrid cables with a single cable. Drives are suitable for mounting directly on the motor or wall-mounted, and multiple drives can also be easily connected via Daisy chains.
The NORDAC ON, NORDAC ON+ and NORDAC ON PURE series inverters have a temperature tolerance range of -30°C to +40°C and are therefore also suitable for deep freezing applications.
Streamline motor models to improve economic efficiency
Due to the large speed and adjustment range of the NORDAC ON inverter, it is possible to streamline the motor static, for example in large internal logistics systems. As a result, when economic conditions permit, as few inverters as possible can be used to meet the required torque and speed of the system and optimize the total cost of ownership (TCO).
The high overload capability of the NORDAC ON series also facilitates streamlining of inverters. The overload capacity of all inverters can reach 150% in 60 seconds and 200% in 5 seconds.
