The 8810-HI-TX, part of GE Fanuc Automation’s PAC8000 series Programmable Automation Controllers (PACS), is an 8-channel secure analog input module.
The module is designed to receive an analog input signal and convert it to a digital signal for use by the PAC controller. It supports a variety of analog input types, including voltage, current, and thermocouples, and provides overvoltage protection and anti-interference capabilities.
The module also has safety features and meets the SIL 3 requirements of the IEC 61508 standard for safety-related applications such as industrial automation control systems.

The working principle of the safety analog input module is to accept the feedback signal of the relevant equipment in the field, convert the analog signal into a digital signal, and transmit it to the linkage controller in the control room.

The input terminal of the security analog input module will be connected to the field device. When the field device acts, the normally open point will be closed and the line will be switched on. The input module will detect that the device has alerted and send the signal to the linkage controller. After receiving the address information feedback from the module, the linkage controller takes it as the supervision status and prompts the staff to confirm.
