Product Description
The IS200ESELH1A is an Exciter Selector Board, this board was once produced by General Electric under the EX2100 series. When this board is being used it will receive six logic level pulse signals from the EMIO that it is connected to. The signals received will be sent up a set of six cables, and the signals are then distributed to EGPA boards. If while using this board redundant controls are being used two IS200ESELH1A models must be used.

IS200ESELH1A Exciter Selector Board
There are three different groups of ESEL boards, ESEL1, ESEL2, and ESEL3, depending on the group there will be a set number of bridge drivers, as this model is an ESEL1 model, only one bridge driver is needed. The ESEL model is integral to operating other boards within the EX2100 system, as mentioned above the ESEL model sends gate pulse signals to the EGPA board, once the signals have been received by the EGPA board the signals will then be used to control SCR gate firing.
Two manuals can be used when installing and operating the IS200ESELH1A board, one is the GEH-6632 EX2100 Excitation Control User’s Guide, this manual is typically used for the EX2100 series but it contains information about the ESEL boards on page forty-eight; the other manual best used with this model is the GEI-100456 IS200ESEL Exciter Selector Board Manual.
