Huang Xiaoli, head of the 5G-A Industrial Internet Laboratory of Seiko Automation: We have deployed 9 5G-A base stations in the factory. The so-called 5G-A is the abbreviation of 5G Advanced, which is an intermediate iterative version in the evolution process of 5G to 6G. Its main feature is that its delay is very low, and the other is that its reliability is very high.
This is the control core of our whole wire body, and then its signal is sent through the base station we just talked about to our actuator, and the whole wire body is like the brain directing the robot arm to work. This system is like the human nervous system, and if we want our robotic arm to be as flexible as a finger, we need the communication network to be extremely responsive. At present, we have verified that the delay of 5G-A is 4 milliseconds, and the stability performance reaches 99.999%.
