Recently, the Implementation Plan for the Digital Transformation of Beijing Manufacturing Industry (2024-2026) (hereinafter referred to as the “Plan”) was released, once again pointing out the direction for the “intelligent future” of Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone (Beijing Yizhuang). With a new batch of smart factories about to rise in Beijing, what advantages does Beijing Yizhuang have? What opportunities will there be?

In recent years, Beijing has implemented the “New intelligent manufacturing 100” project to speed up the development of intelligent manufacturing in Beijing, and Beijing Yizhuang has also relied on the advantages of the main position of the sophisticated industry to promote the 8440-1884  development of “Yizhuang Intelligent manufacturing” into the fast track. The “Plan” pointed out that Beijing will carry out a comprehensive digital transformation assessment, promote the digital transformation path, and strengthen the demonstration and promotion of digital transformation. Among them, due to the high cost and large investment of enterprise digital transformation, Beijing will give “real gold and silver” support to enterprises and parks, such as collecting a number of vertical demonstration applications and solutions in the subdivision of artificial intelligence large model manufacturing industry, encouraging the formation of typical applications, the formation of promotion cases, and awarding 5 million yuan to the excellent solutions for the first application; Enterprises newly awarded as national smart manufacturing benchmark, national smart manufacturing demonstration factory, and World Economic Forum “Lighthouse factory” will be rewarded 8440-1884  according to 30% of the fixed asset investment of intelligent and digital upgrading in the construction process, and a single project will not exceed 30 million yuan.

Facing the direction and incentives brought by the “Plan”, Beijing Yizhuang will also lead the construction of modern industrial system with scientific and technological innovation.
