Shanghai, March 27, 2024 – ebm-papst, the world’s leading wind turbine and motor manufacturer, yesterday announced the official opening of its new Greater China headquarters, “ONE Shanghai.” As a multinational company, EBM-Papst has always attached great importance to the Chinese market. “One Shanghai” covers an area of 33,000 square meters, and EBM-Papst has integrated four sites that were originally scattered in Shanghai into the new headquarters.

A new look, a new start
In order to promote collaboration and innovation, EBM-Papst has consolidated several sites in different locations in Shanghai into a new “One Shanghai” headquarters that integrates office, research and development, warehousing and production. The new headquarters is located in Pudong, Shanghai, with a total area of 33,000 square meters, including 11,000 square meters of warehouse, 8,000 square meters of production area, 2,000 square meters of research and development laboratories and DMC2 50720P 12,000 square meters of office space.
“One Shanghai” will greatly enhance the efficiency of its production, research and development and operations in China, promote agile services and push innovation to new heights.

Ebm-papst established a production facility in Nanhui, Shanghai, in 2005 and its largest R&D center outside Germany in Waigaoqiao, Shanghai, in 2012. Now, the opening of the new headquarters “One Shanghai” will be another key milestone in its development in China.
The new integrated headquarters will not only help EBM-Papst improve production DMC2 50720P efficiency and customer responsiveness, but will also steadily enhance EBM-Papst’s local research and development capabilities, with smarter and more sustainable solutions to provide local customers with a higher level of products and services.
