In order to operate in a safe and efficient manner, the AO2040-CU Ex central unitshould be properly handled and stored, correctly installed and set-up, properlyoperated and correctly maintained.
Only persons familiar with the installation, set-up, operation and maintenance ofcomparable equipment and certified as being capable of such work should workon the A02040-CU Ex central unit.

The regulations, standards and guidelines cited in this operator’s manual areapplicable in the Federal Republic of Germany. The applicable national regulationsshould be followed when the A02040-CU Ex central unit is used in other countries
The A02040-CU Ex central unit is designed and tested in accordance withEN 61010 Part 1/lEC61010-1, “Safety Provisions for Electrical Measuring, Control.Regulation and Laboratory Instruments” and has been shipped ready for safeoperation.
To maintain this condition and to assure safe operation, read and follow the safetyinformation identified with the symbol in this manual. Failure to do so can putpersons at risk and can lead to A02040-CU Ex central unit damage as well asdamage to other systems and instruments.
