Origo Solutions, the Norwegian subsidiary of HIMA Group, has signed a new framework agreement with Equinor to provide Equinor with safety and automation systems as well as related engineering and services. The agreement, which takes effect in January 2024, covers the delivery of safety-critical solutions on land and offshore, as well as automation solutions for related electrical and instrumentation.

Over the years, we have built a large installed base for our products and services, and the industry is increasingly valuing our expertise in areas such as onshore facilities and offshore platforms.”

Since February 2024, Origo Solutions has been part of the HIMA Group, a global independent supplier of safety-related automation solutions for the process and rail industries. “This agreement confirms that Origo’s solutions are world-class and we are proud to contribute to the safety of people and the environment across Equinor’s many onshore and offshore assets,” said Jorg de la Motte, CEO of HIMA Group.

T9432 The agreement provides Origo Solutions with a solid platform from which to continue investing in the future. During the implementation of the agreement, turnover is expected to be at least NOK 1 billion.
