In the table below, performance data forcombinations of PMA Series motors andSCE900 or SC900 drives are shown. in additionto continuous stall current (lc), inertia (J)andline-line inductance (L), each system has ratingsprovided that enable you to construct a referencechart for in comparing and sizing systems. Theratings required to construct the chart are:

To construct a chart, plot the points as in theexample shown. Note that the chart providescontinuous and intermittent duty zones.
Systems can be operated continually attorque/speed combinations anywhere in thecontinuous duty area, assuming the ambienttemperature is less than 40C.
Operation in the intermittent duty zone must belimited to a duty cycle which will produce anRMS system torque falling within the continuousduty area. The RMS torque value is defined bythe magnitude of the intermittent torque andthe percenlage of time spent at that torque.
