Essential details:PR9268/201-000 Electrodynamic Velocity Sensor
The PR9268/201-000 electric speed sensor is a high-performance sensor for measuring the speed of mechanical vibration. Its wide measurement range can cover the frequency range of 10 ~ 1000Hz and 4 ~ 1000Hz, with high sensitivity and accuracy. The sensor’s robust construction allows it to be installed in a variety of harsh environments and to operate stably at operating temperatures up to 200°C.
In addition, the PR9268/201-000 electric speed sensor also has some unique technical features. Its electrodynamic operating principle allows it to provide a voltage signal that is proportional to the vibration speed, which makes the measurement more intuitive and accurate. At the same time, the sensor also has the function of using the safety gate Ex, which can reach the safety level ATEX, ensuring safety during use.
The vibration of the sensor shell will generate a voltage signal proportional to the vibration speed, so that the vibration speed can be accurately measured. Its robust construction and simple installation allow for stable and reliable measurements in a variety of industrial environments.

PR9268/201-000 Electrodynamic Velocity Sensor
The operating principle of the PR9268/201-000 electric speed sensor is mainly based on vibration measurement technology. The sensor consists of a seismic block and a measuring coil supported by a spring plate. The measuring element can be moved axially, i.e. in the direction of measurement, in the magnetic field of a circular magnet.
When the housing of the sensor is subjected to vibration, the position of the measuring coil in the magnetic field changes accordingly. This change in position causes a relative motion between the measuring coil and the magnetic field, which in turn creates an induced electromotive force. The magnitude of this induced electromotive force is proportional to the vibration velocity. Thus, by measuring this induced electromotive force, the sensor is able to convert mechanical vibrations into measurable electrical signals.
The PR9268/201-000 electric speed sensor has a natural frequency between 4 and 13Hz, depending on the sensor model. This design allows the sensor to accurately measure vibrations in a specific frequency range.
In addition, the sensor has some special features, such as the ATEX safety rating with the safety grid Ex, to ensure safe use in potentially explosive environments.
