(hereinafter referred to as “Hesteel”) in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, to build a green digital intelligence chemical plant of Hesteel Serbia Steel Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as “Hesteel Plug Steel“). This is the first innovative practice of Siemens and Hesteel to jointly build a green digital intelligent steel mill overseas, marking the further deepening of strategic cooperation between the two sides. Based on the comprehensive and multi-dimensional consulting solution provided by Siemens Avendar, the two sides will carry out multi-field exploration in the future, committed to the application of cutting-edge technologies and innovations, and inject new momentum into the transformation and upgrading of the entire steel industry.

Promote the digital transformation and upgrading of Hegang Plug steel plant, optimize energy control and sustainable development of production line. In addition, the two sides will jointly establish a joint project team and use this as a carrier to strengthen cooperation in the fields of digital factories, energy optimization, green and low-carbon production and services in the steel industry.

Hesteel Group is a leader in the global steel material manufacturing and comprehensive service industry. Siemens is one of the most important global strategic partners of Hesteel. In the historical production and construction of Hesteel, Siemens’ automation products and solutions have laid a solid foundation for the rapid development of Hesteel.
