The Allen-Bradley 1756-L55M14 is a ControlLogix 5555 controller. This Series A controller has an available data and logic memory of 3.5 Mbytes and an I/O memory of 208 kbytes. It should be noted that the 1756-L55M14 controller does not have a nonvolatile memory.

The controller is placed inside a ControlLogix 1756 chassis and has an open style enclosure. By itself, the controller weighs 0.36 kg or 12.8 oz. Its battery can be replaced with a 1756-BA1 lithium battery. You should remember to replace the controller’s battery only when it is necessary.
