Liquid level measurement

The radar level gauge VEGAPULS 42 is particularly suitable for applications where levels change rapidly in fully automated production.

In order to meet the strict sanitary requirements of the process, the liquid level meter can be equipped with a variety of sanitary adapter adapters. With IO-Link technology, VEGAPULS 42 can quickly transfer process data to the user’s commercial or experimental system. The meter uses non-contact 80GHz radar technology to measure and operate without maintenance.

With a measuring distance of up to 15m and a temperature range of up to 150°C, VEGAPULS 42 can be used in metering systems and downstream process steps such as conveying systems and filling systems.

For more challenging applications, the highly accurate radar level gauge VEGAPULS 6X is the ideal solution. The radar waves of VEGAPULS 6X have a strong focusing ability, and internal components such as stirring devices do not affect their reliable measurement results. With a larger signal dynamic range, the meter can also always accurately measure oily media and other media with poor reflective properties.

Pressure measurement

For feeding tubes for heating media, it is critical that the instrument responds quickly. In such applications, the VEGABAR 28 pressure transmitter enables safe and reliable monitoring of gases, vapors and liquids at temperatures up to 130°C. The capacitive ceramic CERTEC® measuring element used in the meter is developed and produced by VEGA itself. It has the advantages of abrasion resistance, no filling oil, long-term measurement stability, and high overload resistance. The VEGABAR 28 provides a common interface for sanitary adapters, thereby reducing the user’s installation effort and spare parts inventory.
