On April 26, 2024, TUV Rheinland (hereinafter referred to as “TUV Rheinland”), as a leading international independent third-party testing, inspection and certification body, issued the CE Machinery Directive and functional Safety compliance certificate for ESS (ESTUN Safety Solution) products to ESTun Automation Co., LTD. This marks Eston’s rapid progress in building a comprehensive system of functional safety products 839-101612-887Â for robots. This certification not only highlights Eston’s innovative strength and professional level in the field of robotics, but also reflects its strict control and commitment to product safety and quality, and will further improve Eston’s service quality and efficiency in the global market.
The certification of compliance with TUV Rheinland’s Machinery Directive means that Eston Robotics products are designed in accordance with EN ISO 10218-1:2011 and EN60204-1:2018, effectively reducing potential risks in robot operation and improving the reliability and safety of the production process. This achievement not only helps to enhance the competitiveness of Eston in the global market, but also sets a new safety benchmark for the domestic robot industry to go to sea, and promotes the healthy development of the entire robot industry.
With the support of Eston’s ESS functional safety platform, the industrial robot has completed functional safety certification, and a total of 12 safety functions have passed ISO13849 PLd,Cat.3 certification. It covers critical safety functions such as safety emergency stop (Class 1 stop), safety protective stop (Class 1 stop), static monitoring (Class 2 stop), tool speed monitoring in Cartesian coordinate system, safe low-speed monitoring in teaching mode, robot six-axis speed/position detection, and safe area monitoring. At the same time, ESS functional safety products also support the PROFIsafe security communication protocol, which is further adapted to the integration needs of high-density production lines such as automotive manufacturing. In the future, Eston will continue to improve the coverage of ESS safety kits to achieve a full range of ESS 839-101612-887Â functional safety options for industrial robots.
In 2024, Eston will continue to integrate international resources, accelerate global business layout, and build an international standard system in all aspects of design, manufacturing and operation with agile organization and excellent quality assurance system, so as to provide global users with high quality, high safety robot products and intelligent complete solutions.
