HDS03.2 drives do it all
Indramat HDS drives are extremely versatile and they’re used in a wide range of motion control applications. These drives work with 2AD motors, 1MB motors, MKD motors, and MHD motors. Like other Indramat drives, the modular design of HDS drives allows for quick and convenient servicing and replacement.
The drives support either an analog or SERCOS interface.
HDS drives are equipped with a built-in blower for cooling. These drives are designed to operate in an ambient temperature range between 41°F to 113°F. If the ambient temperature exceeds 113°F, your drive performance will suffer.
There are other reasons you might have a problem with your HDS drive, even though these are very versatile. Check the error code on the display before you call us.
Finding the right HDS03.2 drive for your system
Replacing your dive can be a little bit tricky. Indramat drives, controls, and servo motors are legacy products, meaning that they are no longer manufactured. Indramat shut up shop in 2001, and even though Bosch Rexroth – the company who now owns the Indramat name – still supports these products, they do not produce new Indramat products.
Availability is an obvious problem, but compatibility issues are something that can catch people by surprise.
You can’t just replace your Indramat HDS03.2 drive with any other other HDS03.2 drive. There are several different types of HDS03.2 drive. You must match your drive’s type code exactly with a replacement drive to prevent any compatibility issues.
