Siemens announces a range of new Xcelerator as a Service solutions, including NX X, Zel X, Opcenter X, Simcenter X and Teamcenter X Essentials, Help businesses of all sizes access Siemens Industrial software on demand

IC800SSD104RS1-DC Siemens Digital Industrial Software today announced the further expansion of the Siemens Xcelerator as a Service solution, bringing together the multifaceted capabilities of Siemens Industrial Software to accelerate innovation through technologies and services tailored to industry and individual users.

The Siemens Xcelerator as a Service connects all tasks and processes to a single platform, allowing all parties along the value chain to collaborate with the tools and data they need, anytime, anywhere. These flexible, modular solutions run on a reliable and interoperable data backbone, covering the entire workflow from concept to manufacturing.

New solutions added to Siemens Xcelerator as a Service include product engineering and lifecycle management, cloud-based high-performance simulation and manufacturing operations management:

NX X: NX™X is a cloud-based product engineering solution. as the cornerstone of Siemens’ Xcelerator as a Service cloud software, NX X provides cloud services for product engineering to help customers free up resources for business expansion and focus on innovation. With centralized cloud license management, configuration, and functionality provision, NX simplifies IT needs, allowing users to either install NX on the desktop or stream it through AWS cloud services when needed, giving distributed teams greater flexibility.

Opcenter X: Siemens’ Opcenter™ X software is a new, more accessible Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) SaaS solution that delivers Siemens’ Manufacturing IC800SSD104RS1-DC Execution systems (MES), scheduling, quality and analytics capabilities in a modular, easy-to-implement and inherently collaborative cloud environment.

Simcenter X: The Simcenter™X SaaS solution delivers the simulation and testing capabilities of Siemens Simcenter™ on the cloud. The initial release of Simcenter X will focus on Simcenter™STAR-CCM+™ software and will be delivered as part of Siemens Xcelerator. Simcenter X enables engineers of all sizes to access a cloud-based simulation engineering desktop environment, combined with a highly scalable high-performance computing (HPC) environment, for modeling and post-processing.
