Product Description
The National Instruments PXI-2529 (Part Number: 778739-01, 189397A-01, 189688B-01) is a high-density, 1-Wire, 128-Crosspoint PXI Matrix Switch Module that users can configure as either an 8×16 2-wire, 4×32, or 4 × 16 2-wire dual matrix by utilizing different NI terminal block accessories. This module comes equipped with electromechanical relays that offer remarkable performance for low thermal offset and high power-signals for precise measurements at low-voltage levels. The NI PXI-2529 features relay counting for deterministic operation and relay monitoring with hardware triggers to enhance test throughput. The device is equipped with a 100-pin HDI front panel connector.
This switch module is Measurement Category I rated and is designed to carry signal voltages under 150 Volts. However, it can withstand voltage surges up to 800 V. With this model, the user can achieve 30 W, 37.5 VA maximum switching power, 1 A maximum switching current, 2 A maximum carry current per channel, and up to 8 A maximum current as well. The NI PXI-2529 offers 150 V channel-to-channel and 150 V, CAT I channel-to-ground switching voltage.
