The GE VMIVME-5565-110000, also known as the VME5565 or 332-015565-110000 P, is a versatile, high-performance VMEbus board designed for industrial and embedded computing applications.
In addition, the VME5565 reflective memory node card offers the following features:
Provides high-speed, low-latency, deterministic interfaces.
Allows data to be shared between up to 256 independent systems (nodes) at rates up to 170 Mbyte/s.
Each reflective memory board can be configured with 64 MB or 128 MB of on-board SDRAM.
Data transfer rates range from 43 Mbyte/s (4-byte packet) to 170 Mbyte/s (64-byte packet).
Support multi-mode fiber connection distance up to 300 meters, single-mode fiber connection distance up to 10 kilometers.
Supports dynamic packet sizes from 4 to 64 bytes.
Data transfers between nodes are software-transparent, so there is no I/O overhead.
