Product Description
The YS1700-100/A06/A31 is a high-performance programmable controller manufactured by Yokogawa Electric Corporation and designed for the industrial automation and process control fields. Here are some of the key features and functions of the product:
High definition display: Equipped with a full dot-matrix color LCD to ensure high visibility even in direct sunlight in the morning and evening.
Feature block programming: In addition to text programming that is compatible with earlier models, the YS1700 offers a graphical user interface (GUI) -based programming method known as feature block programming. User program development using the YS1000 series optional YSS1000 setup software.
Large programming capacity: the programming capacity of the text program is 1000 steps, and the programming capacity of the function block program is 400 modules.
Powerful control and calculation functions: Support IEEE754 format four-byte floating point calculation, including exponent, logarithm, temperature/pressure correction and more than 100 kinds of calculation modules.
Feature Selection mode: No programming required to select common control functions such as single loop, cascade or selector control. The functional allocation of digital and analog inputs/outputs (DI, DO, AI, and AO) can be determined by parameter Settings.
Scalable I/O: The basic model with scalable I/O consists of eight analog inputs, four analog outputs, ten digital inputs, or ten digital outputs (fourteen digital inputs and outputs in total).
Fail-safe: Because of the dual CPU design (one for control and one for display), display and manual operation can still be performed when either CPU fails.
Non-volatile memory: For memory backup, no need to use batteries or capacitors, easy maintenance.
Wide operating voltage range: Support AC (100 V) or DC (24 V) power supply drive to ensure stability when the power supply voltage fluctuations.
Communication features: Optional communication features include Ethernet (Modbus/TCP), RS485 (PC link, Modbus, peer-to-peer communication, and YS protocol), and DCS-LCS communication.
