Siemens Digital Industrial Software has announced a number of new features for its product engineering software NX™. As part of Siemens Xcelerator’s portfolio of solutions, NX enhancements are designed to help designers and manufacturers across industries deliver better, more optimized products to market faster.

DS200PCCAG1ABB Building on the NX offerings, the NX™ X software allows users to access it from the cloud, while introducing an embedded data management module based on Siemens’ product lifecycle management software, Teamcenter®, to leverage information securely stored in Siemens’ cloud software-as-a-service (SaaS) infrastructure. Help users unlock a higher level of NX applications for greater flexibility, scalability and collaboration.

DS200PCCAG1ABB NX X is an enhanced cloud-based product engineering software that supports desktop installation and browser streaming via AWS cloud services. In addition, NX X provides secure data management capabilities that facilitate seamless collaboration; PLM capabilities have also been enhanced with Teamcenter® X software, which not only gives users greater flexibility and local collaboration, but also helps them reduce IT management time. NX offers a flexible and scalable license model that allows customers to access NX’s add-on modules and advanced features in a more adaptive and cost-effective manner. With more than 100 available products and extended features, companies can gain insight into the add-on modules that fit their workflows and customize them to their project needs. In addition, the NX X can be used in conjunction with Siemens’ new Zel X™ software. Using the same architecture as NX, the Zel X software is a browser-based next-generation engineering application that integrates NX and other Siemens Xcelerator software solutions to help streamline manufacturing and shop floor operations.
