• Siemens Low Carbon Digital Innovation Summit was successfully held in Shandong
• Help Shandong build the first zero-carbon smart factory, and provide zero-carbon consulting, planning and comprehensive technical support
• Signed a cooperation framework agreement with Linyi High-tech Zone to cooperate in the field of zero-carbon smart industrial park
8200-1501 The Siemens Low Carbon Digital Innovation Summit was held in Jinan today. With the theme of “Empowering digital intelligence, Building a sustainable Future together”, the forum was jointly organized by Siemens and Shandong Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Lokmesen Intelligent Electric Co., LTD., Shandong CPPCC Qixin Zhixing, and the Industry and Education Integration Sector, focusing on low-carbon and digital frontier technologies, discussing cooperation and seeking opportunities, and actively promoting the digital and low-carbon transformation and upgrading of Shandong Province. During the event, the launch ceremony of Lokmesen (Jinan) Zero carbon Smart Factory, the first zero carbon smart factory in Shandong Province, and the signing ceremony of the cooperation framework agreement between Siemens and Linyi High-tech Zone were also held, which marked further practical progress in the comprehensive cooperation between Siemens and Shandong Province in digitization and low-carbon.
“Low-carbon development is not only an inevitable requirement to address global climate change, but also an internal driving force to promote high-quality urban development and enhance competitiveness.” Lin Bin, Executive vice President of Siemens (China) Co., LTD., and general manager of Siemens’ Intelligent Infrastructure Group in Greater China, said, “Siemens has always actively explored the realization path of the construction of zero-carbon factories and zero-carbon parks, and promoted the low-carbon and digital transformation and upgrading of the regional economy. We hope to give full play to the spirit of doers, take practical and innovative technologies and solutions as the cornerstone, take new quality productivity as the lead, and continue to deepen cooperation with Shandong Province, and provide a model reference for the green and sustainable development of Chinese cities.”
At this conference, Siemens will fully showcase its innovative technologies and solutions in the areas of zero-carbon smart factory, smart energy carbon management, smart park management, and integrated energy management. For example, the Siemens smart Park management platform SCX integrates five smart park management systems, namely smart security, smart fire protection, energy carbon monitoring, building automation, and one-card system, which can allow managers to intuitively understand the overall operation of the factory and the park, and realize all-round integrated smart park information management. The Siemens Smart carbon management platform Smart ECX, which has been launched on the Siemens Xcelerator platform, can realize carbon emission accounting, carbon reduction planning, carbon footprint real-time monitoring, etc., so that customers can understand the carbon emission situation of the factory and campus, and can take corresponding measures to achieve carbon reduction according to the system recommendations. At present, these two platforms have been widely used in China, including providing energy consumption monitoring and optimization for Changshu High-tech Zone MOBO Collaborative Innovation Industrial Park and Taicang Zhihuigu, and helping to build Beijing’s first “light storage direct and soft” zero-carbon business hall.
8200-1501 During the meeting, the Lokmesen (Jinan) zero carbon Smart Factory, the first zero carbon smart factory in Shandong Province that Siemens helped build, was officially launched. Siemens provided a digital and low-carbon solution for the plant, from consulting and analysis to planning. Siemens Smart Energy carbon management platform Smart ECX, integrated energy management platform MGMS and smart park management platform SCX, not only quantifies energy consumption, carbon footprint and other data from the production source, so that plant management is more intelligent, but also realize the intelligent operation and management of the park. After the completion of the zero-carbon smart factory, it is expected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by nearly 600 tons per year through the construction of new energy and the application of digital scenarios. In addition, Siemens will also provide factories with a variety of zero-carbon business training and help them train relevant talents, help build digital exhibition halls, and comb a set of zero-carbon factory construction standards, so as to promote its demonstration effect to scale. The factory project was awarded the “Zero carbon factory” standard pilot certificate by the China Investment Association at the 2023 CIIE, becoming the only project in Shandong Province to receive this honor.
