Woodward recently introduced a new microprocessor synchronization unit, the SPM-D11 8440-1703, designed for single – or three-phase alternators and compatible with Woodward and other brands of governors and regulators. The synchro features analog or switching output bias signals for automatic matching of frequency, phase and voltage, while integrating circuit breaker control, automatic load distribution, power factor control and generator set protection.
The SPM-D11 8440-1703 synchronizer, with its high accuracy and reliability, is suitable for a variety of industrial applications, including but not limited to the control and protection of diesel generator sets, the control of equipment such as pumps and fans, the control and monitoring of motor drive systems, and the control of motors in special environments such as ships and thermal power plants.
The launch of this device further enriches Woodward’s product line in the field of industrial control, providing customers with more efficient and intelligent solutions. It is based on microprocessing technology design, flexible and reliable operation, and has passed the CE certification and UL/cUL standard certification.
The introduction of the SPM-D11 8440-1703 marks another significant advance in Woodward’s synchronizer technology, bringing new options to industrial automation and power generation control worldwide.
